What type of shop do you have?: Handpainted Mailboxes,Handpainted Crafts,Sewing Patterns,Variety

What inspired you to start your own business?: Painting Gifts for Friends and Family lead to people calling and wanting to order them. I Love to paint, do all kinds of crafts,sewing,woodworking etc.

People are so happy to see a mailbox,wood shaker box, a christmas ornament etc with their photo used for the painting.

This allows a way for me to keep the supplies that I need around to continue to paint and craft since it does pay for itself.

About Me:: I am called MimieShelane by the Grandkids that also love to paint and do crafts.
Since we do not do the video games when they come to visit-we get out the paints,crayons,markers,rolls of paper and anything in betwixt and between for having a good time.

I am a Wife of 36 years, Mother to 3 children,GrandMother(Mimie) also a daughter to my own parents. Home and Hearth will come first but there will be time for Painting,Selling, and Good Customer Service.

I love the handpainted tractors on the mailboxes, they have taught me a whole lot about the tractors that I have been requested to paint.So I also am learning from one project to the other which is a good thing.

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy Fourth of July to All.... Be safe and enjoy the time of Family and Friends-Food,Fireworks are just a small part of the holiday,I think it all is more family time than any thing else. The Craft Shows, playing Horse Shoes, Small Carnivals and the Music makes the Crafters who work to sell online,work at any job a little time for renewing and getting down to business once the 4th has come and gone.
